In 1989, we began our search for the perfect veggie burger. We tried recipe after recipe until this one, with organic bulgur wheat, earthy mushrooms, flavorful veggies and toasty walnuts, just couldn't be beat
Now, this is actually a soy-free burger. Instead of soy, Amy’s Kitchen has constructed each patty out of things like organic bulgur wheat, mushrooms, onions, carrots, and walnuts. That means this is not a brown, beefy looking patty at all, but rather a fairly colorful one, as the carrots are visible as orange spots.
The texture is nothing like beef. It’s grainy and soft, and these don’t hold together the way a gristly beef patty would. But the taste is incredible — it’s actually kind of wheaty. If you’re the type of person who likes mayo on your burgers, these pair very well with mayo

Organic mushrooms, organic bulgur wheat, organic onions, organic celery, organic carrots, organic oats, organic walnuts, organic wheat gluten, organic potatoes, sea salt, organic high oleic safflower and/or sunflower oil, organic garlic. contains wheat and tree nuts (walnuts).
Cook from frozen
These veggie burgers are fully prebaked. Please do not overcook. Overcooking will make them too dry.
Stovetop
Heat in a lightly oiled skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side or until heated throughout.
Barbecue
Oil each side lightly before putting on the grill. Heat for 3-4 minutes on each side or until heated throughout.
Conventional Toaster or Oven
Preheat oven to 400F. Place patty on a baking sheet. Bake for 4-5 minutes. Flip. Bake for 4-5 more minutes. Let sit 1 minute. Serve.
Microwave Oven
Remove from overwrap and place one or more patties in a single layer on a microwave-safe plate. Microwave one patty for 1 minute. Increase cooking time 50-60 seconds for each additional patty. Let stand 1 minute. Serve.
This product is made in a facility that also processes foods containing milk, soy tree, nuts and seeds (including sunflower seeds). Amy's kitchen does not use any peanuts, fish, shelfish or eggs.
