Everyday Vegan's New Year's 'Revolution', Our Donation Pledge & 3 Year Mission

It is on!

Last week, we shared with you Everyday Vegan’s New Year’s ‘Revolution,’ highlighting our donation pledge of at least $500 monthly to ACRES and our 3-year mission of establishing the Everyday Vegan Village. It is truly exciting to start on something bigger for us, but it is never without its challenges.

I won’t deny. It is exhilarating even just thinking about our 3-year mission. Imagine a place where we could get our quality vegan groceries and interact with farm animals in a sanctuary where they are in a happy, natural and stress-free state. Wouldn’t that be great?

These past few days, I’ve been thinking a lot about the first challenges towards our goals. I thought of space. Is there enough space in Singapore for the Everyday Vegan Village? How would the government react to such a plan? Would they even allow such a place to exist?

Then, this area near Bollywood Veggies in the Kranji countryside came to mind. I remember walking on the footpaths of that beautiful place while admiring the vegetables and fruits growing on the vines.

I envision Everyday Vegan Village to be in a place similar to it. A magnificent site tucked among the green countryside.

I can already feel how serene and quiet it would be. With a small enclosure for us to farm and grow organic vegetables in a sustainable way.

There would also be a space for a grocery store and restaurant where you can spend an afternoon browsing through a great selection of vegan products. Then eat amazing vegan dishes made from locally grown organic vegetables.

A dedicated sanctuary will also be built for our farm animal friends to live a quiet and stress-free life. We will pour our hearts to providing them with lifelong care and love after they are rescued from factory farms.

This is a huge goal but I believe that with your patronage and the great conviction from the ever-growing Everyday Vegan community, we can turn this vision to a reality. Together, we can build a more loving and more caring world.
